<21:56 EEST> After two weeks, my chemistry studies are almost up to full speed, and I have gotten myself a new toy for managing time and documents. While the Maemo installation is perfectly usable for everyday stuff, I plan to experiment with other distros on the side, naturally including Gentoo. A new theatre production is also on its way, with me mainly on the light commander.

<22:42 EEST> This week's major hack started with the purchase of an appropriately named tool, a hack-saw. I used it to trim down a Slot 1 heatsink so that my iMac Rev. B could be passively cooled. The silencing hack also involved building an ATX power adapter. Unfortunately, the machine no longer fits in its original case, but that can be used for other purposes too :-j
